Vessel
A four-metre canoe knitted entirely from fibre optic yarn, its surface activated by real-time wind data drawn from Lake Ontario. Light moves through the hull the way wind moves across water — not illustrating data so much as embodying it.
The work asks what becomes possible when computation is not added to textiles but woven into them from the start: a material that senses, transmits, and means something all at once.
