A live heart rate signal drives an electromechanical typewriter, composing poetry one letter per beat — the body's rhythm translated directly into language.

Each keystroke is synchronised to a pulse, making the participant simultaneously author, instrument, and subject. The heart, long held as the seat of feeling, here becomes the engine of verse.
